[LJ2ME] Viktor I love you. . .

Hello my lovelies. I've been meaning to post a real entry for a while now and since I can't sleep, now is the perfect time. First let me say that I read all of your journals and look at your wonderful photos, even though I may not always comment. I do most if my email/journal checking, etc. via my blackberry (like now). The main reason I twitter is because I have the app on my phone and it's convenient. I will continue to post my tweets/twitts(?) On my live journal until the end of july, then I will turn off LoudTwitter and those of you who wish to continue to read my tweets may do so by checking out my twitter page. (www.twitter.com/monicarnsg/).

Current news: I'm in the hospital right now with my mom. I don't think it's anything very serious. She had some shortness of breath and shoulder pain and she was very pale this morning. I packed her up and brought her to the hospital. They are currently treating her for Urosepsis. She is being pumped full of fluids and antibiotics. She'll have more labs drawn in the morning, but for now she is resting comfortably. She had some medication for pain, so she'll sleep most of the night. I'm encouraging her to drink as much as possible when she wakes.

Mom has decided to do chemotherapy after all, but she is going to wait until August to start, so that I'll be here in case anything happens. (Like today.) She'll be under going six courses of chemo (once a month for six months.)

My scans have continued to come back clear. So. . . so far, so good on that front. My right heel has been hurting something awful. My doctor thinks it's a heel spur, so I've been wearing three different insoles in my shoes in the hopes that it will help relieve some of the pressure. It hasn't been very effective. The next step for me is an orthotic. (Then cortisone shots or surgery, neither of which are appealing.)

We haven't seen Ella since the day before Mother's day. Nikki sent my brother a video of the baby walking. (I posted a link to the video that I uploaded to youtube on my twitter last week.) She is precious. Hopefully my other brother, Fidencio, will be able to pick Ella up on Sunday on his way back from visiting our family in Arizona. If he does, we'll have her for a week!

In other news. . .
Way back last fall, before I took my trip to London, I posted that originally my trip was a part of a tour group (www.hpfantrips.com) With the cancellation of HP&HBP, that portion of my trip was rescheduled for this summer to coincide with the new release date. Well, it's now summer and in less than two weeks time I will be going back to the UK. (Some of you are aware of this fact.) I will be leaving a day earlier than I had originally intended to prevent missing a day of my trip in case of stupid airplane stuff, like my last trip! I will be going first to Edinburgh, Scotland then to Gloucester for a day, then to London. I hope to see the movie at least twice, while I'm there (maybe once with starrose17.) I'm not sure if my phone will work the way I want while I'm there, so I don't know if I will use Twitter, LJ2ME or internet to keep you guys updated on my trip going ons. (That is why I'm keeping LoudTwitter on until I come home.) On the last day/evening of our trip there will be a banquet at Hampton Court Palace. I have a lovely dress picked out. I am also now the proud owner of a beautiful set of robes. They are black, with a hood and a dark metal or silver clasp at the neck. When I'm home I'll take a photo of both and post it via twitter. Anyway, I'm getting all dolled up because we get to meet (drum roll, please!) Stanislav Ianevski (aka Viktor Krum). I'm trying to learn a few phrases in Bulgarian before my trip. squee

So that's that. I've got to go to bed or I'll be dead on my feet tomorrow. I've got a looooong list of stuff I have to do before I go.

To quote someone I know. . . "Good night, Moon."

When I get my itinerary from the travel agency, I'll let you know what time I'm getting to London on the 15th. If we're there in time, could I get you to buy me a ticket so that I can see the movie with you and your mum? I'll pay you back when I see you. (That's if I'm there in time).

I know! Viktor Krum. . . sigh.

I can certainly try, but you'll have to let me know if you're gonna be there in time ASAP, cos this is the cinema where it's premièring and it's the opening night so i'd be surprised if it's not fully booked already!

I'VE BOOKED YOUR TICKET! XD

8.45pm, Empire Cinema in Leicester Square, screen 1, row AA seat 41. That's the front of the circle, the best seats in the house! You are on the end of the row in an aisle but not by the wall of the cinema cos there are other seats that go on after you, so you should have a very good view! You're on the same row as me and mum but we're right dot in the middle.

JUST in case we miss each other there, to get your ticket you'll need to go to one of the self service ticket machines and put in this booking reference number to get your ticket:

818524547

EDIT: Oh, and the ticket cost £14.10.

Good luck on the chemo for your mum !! And good luck on your own health too! Glad to read that your scans have been clear!

I cannot imagine what cortisone shall do to the heel spur, aside from it's antiphlogistic effect the spur will still be there or am I wrong?

Just watched Ella walking and your "Five facts about me"-vid which I love. Ells is really cute!

Have a great time in GB and good luck on meetng Viktor Krum! :-)

Thank you for your well wishes. I'll pass them on to my mom in the morning, when she is awake. I know they are and will continue to be appreciated!

The cortisone will help with it's anti-inflammatory properties. It'll help with my pain, while I continue to use insoles/orthotics to give the spur time to dissolve on it's own. (Or so the doctor explained it.) I know the shot is painful, as I've had one in my hand before, but it helped in the long run.

Ella is a wonderful, delightful baby. The first time I watched the video, I cried. Thanks for subscribing. The five facts video was fun to make.

I intend to live it up on my trip and sooooo look forward to meeting Stan!!

I am so jealous. I want you to have a great time. See and do everything. But, please, stuff him in your duffel and bring him back for me. LOL Kidding, of course. Have fun and take scads of pix. Will be in Round Rock tomorrow and Friday. Try to call you then.

Don't be jealous, darling. I'll bring you back something special. *wink* I don't think Stan (aka: VK) will fit in my duffel bag. He may arouse suspicion going through airport security. *lol* I will definitely take loads of photos!

Mom is still in the hospital. She may be here until Friday or Saturday. I hope you have a nice time in Round Rock. If she's doing ok when you call I'll see if I can escape for a bit. I have some stuff I need to do before I go anyways.

Hey lovely.
It's so weird reading an update that's more than a sentence. lol
I hope the heel gets better somewhat before your trip. Will you be attending the premiere at all? Be in the crowd there? Can I get the exclusive if you do? Heck, I want to read all about everything you do there, what am I talking about?!?! And VIKTOR!!! *dies* What a hunk of man you get to meet. You better get photos! Take two, three, four batteries and memory cards and don't forget the charger! Lol

Good night, my red balloon. ;)

I know. It's weird for me to write so much, without condensing what I have to say in 140 characters or less! *lol*

Sorry to disappoint you (and me), but there is no premiere for me. Maybe you can send the link to Tom Felton and get him to join us. (Crosses fingers!)

Viktor. . . Sigh. What a fine specimen! Don't worry I have two batteries and a charger and a HUGE memory card. I'm prepared.

Nighty night.

Wow, it's going to be a tremendous, fantastic adventure!!! Scotland is so very beautiful! You're lucky to go inside the Edinburgh Castle (we didn't) and I especially envy you because you're making a BOAT cruise in LONDON!!! That's what I'm dreaming of, aaaah! The whole trip looks to be perfectly compiled with all the events included.

yeah! Attending the film's opening night in LONDON is a super-exclusive and unique chance! As is the whole tour.
*whispers* Only it costs a helluva lot of money *sighs*

We're attending the movie two days after it opens everywhere else. No opening night or premiere for us. :(

It was expensive, but I've been saving for a while, and the trip was completely paid for since last summer, or I wouldn't even be going now. (I could use the money, but it's better to go than to waste the trip and money, as it's nonrefundable.)
