How does that make you feel?: sleepysleepy

Photobucket
I went to the ophthalmologist after work. Nothing new there. Drove home like a zombie, but didn't fall asleep at the wheel. Have you ever been so tired that you can't go to sleep? My legs were aching. I think it was the fact that yesterday I went running down six fights of stairs on my way to the ICU and was on my feet all night.

I bought my dog a Pedi-Paws last week. I took it out of the car today along with a new mascara that I picked up. I didn't use the Pedi-Paws on Precious, yet. I'm introducing it to her a little at a time so that she can get familiar with it, before I use it to trim her nails. At least that is what the instructions say to do.

I also tried a new mascara that I saw on TV. Most of my make up is Avon because my Aunt Concha sells it, but this commercial made the mascara look pretty good, so I went out and bought it. I had to go to a couple of stores before I could find it. I was having a hard time getting to sleep, so I thought I'd try it out. My lashes looked really long (not as good as those seen on TV.) Finally fell asleep only to find that my lashes were a little stuck together when I woke up (not so pretty.) LOL. The mascara washed of easily.

I'm going back to bed. I'll try and catch up with all of your comments and LJ's tomorrow when I'm more awake.

Here is my new mascara (The video is in French, I couldn't find it in english.):

Yes I am frequently way too tired to go to sleep...

We have that mascara here too, I don't wear make-up though so I haven't tried it.

Let me know how the Pedi-Paws goes, Loki hates you getting anywhere near his paws (he doesn't get violent or anything just totally hysterical and frightened) so his claws have to wear down naturally. Which would be fine except he has one that grows at a bad angle and he has already ripped it right out of his toe once. I would take him to a doggy beautician, but they told me they won't attempt it because he is so big and even the vet has said he would have to knock Loki right out (because he gets so distressed) to do his nails and as they aren't badly overgrown he is reluctant to do it.

Well, so far she is okay with it on, next to her. She even lets me touch her with it, but when I try to do her nails, she pulls away. I think she is scared of the vibrating on her nail/foot. She is an inside dog, but she does a lot of running around outside. Her nails seem to grow quicker than she can wear them down.

One of my nephews accidentally stepped on her little toe about a month ago and it partially ripped her nail off. I had to clip it. Her little whine nearly broke my heart!

Sexy gal!

I know what you mean about feeling so tired you can't sleep. That's how I felt Tuesday night. The next day I still felt like I had been run over.

I tried the CoverGirl version of this mascara. It's pretty good. Does good length, but doesn't do as much on the thickness of the lashes. I still really like Maybeline (the one with the comb) the best for that. I may have to try Loreal next. I know that I've used their other mascara for years and it was my favorite until I found the Maybeline.

Oh, I wanted to try the one with the comb, but when I saw this one, I changed my mind. How do you like it?

My legs/feet swell up when I'm on my feet to long or have them dependent for long periods of time. Sometimes when I'm at work I use compression stockings, they really seem to help.

I've only tried the mascara once, it's okay. I think any other mascara would have worked just as well and coast me half as much. But, i wanted to try it. Most of the time I don't wear any make up at all. That's how the people around me know it's a special occasion-I wear make up. *lol*

That's cool!
